Catalog

Top speed and spare payload are class-level estimates. Manufacturers do not publish them under a common protocol, so only same-battery, same-prop bench or flight tests can settle them.

Method

Top speed ≈ 28 × √(KV/22000) × √(25 g / dry weight), clamped to 18–75 km/h. Thrust per motor comes from the motor class (about 17–43 gf on typical micros), multiplied by four and reduced 28% for losses. Spare payload = max(0, effective thrust / 2 − flying weight), which keeps a 2:1 thrust-to-weight reserve. Flight time rescaled by battery capacity assumes linear scaling. None of this replaces testing.
